What A Long Strange Trip it's Been!
It's argueable if this head trip had any theraputic value for the Huntress but it didn't cause any lasting trauma and she went on to further adventures without any qualms. Sadly in 1986 she ran into something she couldn't handle, Crisis on Infinite Earths. Her past was obliterated when reality changed and she perished along with Dick Grayson (the Earth 2 Robin and her foster brother) and Kole of the Teen Titans. Killed off because it was inconvenient to keep them around in the new DC continuity. Subsequently the costume and name reappeared but the new Huntress bore little resemblence to the old. R.I.P. Helena and all the other Crisis victims. Some of us still remember you.
